On the Brink of Nuclear War

October 13th, 1962. This picture was taken as proof of missile being in Cuba. It shows that in Cuba, there was a medium range missile that would have the range to reach America. 

October 24th, 1962. This picture provided the sufficient evidence for president Kennedy to start up a Naval blockade.


October 25th, 1962. U.S. Ambassador of the united nations all meet to discuss the Cuban Missile Crisis.

November 2nd, 1962. The President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, addressed the country personally, warning everyone of the Cuban Missile Crisis

November 10th, 1962. This is a Submarine that belongs to the soviets that was patrolling around Cuba in order to keep it protected from the U.S. and to allow there transport ships easier access.

October 27th, 1962. The U.S. had soldiers guarding their borders.
November 21st, 1962. The U.S. rushes military supplies to Florida to defend the country incase war started.
